Monday Markets: An LA Palace

Good Morning, and happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. This week’s Monday Markets home is a 20,000 square foot property in Bel Air. If you never outgrew your childhood dreams of being a princess (or prince), this home’s for you.

There are 15 bedrooms and 16.5 bathrooms in the main home alone. There is also a guest house (larger than most regular homes) with more beds and baths in it. Many of the bedrooms have private balconies. The master bedroom comes complete with a fireplace, and can fit the bed, a large sitting area, and more with room to spare. Connected is a spa-like bathroom and a dressing room large enough to hold a couple pieces of exercise equipment without taking up any of the space needed for getting ready in the morning.

Engravings and custom artwork decorate the walls and ceilings of this exquisite home. High ceilings, large spacious rooms, pillars and marble floors throughout the home make you feel like you really are living in a royal palace. There are several fireplaces, an office area and an exercise room, which has an attached sauna. The kitchen is huge, with two islands (one for sitting at, and one for prep work), a large double stove, and dozens of cabinets.

Trees surrounding the property give a measure of privacy, as well as adding to the beautiful landscaping. Perfectly manicured lawns are broken up by tall palm trees. There is a fountain near the front entrance of the home, and a small water garden, complete with a tranquil waterfall. A pool and spa are accentuated by nearby pillars and a covered walkway back into the home. A tennis court, complete with a scoreboard and viewing area, sits near the guest house.

A palatial home comes with a palatial price tag. As it turns out, playing at royalty doesn’t come cheap. This home could be your for the listing price of $37,995,000.
