Christmas All Year Round

Christmas is my favorite holiday. Spending time with friends and family, Christmas treats, and the shopping.. I look forward to it all year round.
To be honest, though, as much as I love the holiday season while it’s here, I don’t mind seeing it go. The first week of January, and I am ready to move on. Christmas is over, and I have a long list of New Years resolutions to get started on.
For those who want Christmas year round, there are several cities in the US who are able to celebrate the holidays year round. These cities embrace their name, and often have special year-round activities, all celebrating the most magical time of the year.
Santa Claus, Indiana
Rudolph, Wisconsin
Christmas, Florida (there are actually 5 cities in the US named Christmas)
Christmas Valley, Oregon
Holly, Michigan
Christmas City, Utah
Holiday, Florida
North Pole, Alaska
North Pole, New York
Mistletoe, Kentucky
Humbug, Arizona
Snowflake, Virginia
This is just a small sampling. There are over a hundred cities with Christmas themed names, including cities for 8 of the 9 reindeer (sorry, Prancer). There are not nearly as many cities named for other holidays, although there are several Pumpkintowns and even a Cranberry or two.
While not all of these cities celebrates its namesake year-round, I’m willing to bet that most of them have a few special attractions for tourists in the holiday spirit, no matter what time of the year it is.
